We are very excited to announce that the YouthLaw team are moving!
Soon, you’ll be able to find us at the Westfield Mall in Manukau. We’ll be above the food court on the mezzanine level. Our team are passionate about being more visible and accessible for young people, and this move is an important step for us towards this goal.Unfortunately, we will be hard to reach over the next two weeks while we pack, move and set up. We will be trying to help as many people as we can, but our team will be working from home and we won’t have our wonderful volunteers around to help. As a result, we won’t be taking any new clients for the rest of this week, and we probably won’t be able to take as many clients as usual over the following two weeks. If you are an existing client with us, we will still be working on your case. If you or someone you know needs legal advice over this time, you can try to contact your local community law centre, which you can find at www.communitylaw.org.nz. If a community law centre cannot help you, you can use the ‘find a lawyer or organisation’ tool on the New Zealand Law Society website www.lawsociety.org.nz or call the national office on 04 472 7837. However, lawyers you find this way are likely to charge you for their time. We apologise for the disruption while we move, and we look forward to seeing you once we’ve settled in to our new offices.
